Day 76 – Water, Water Everywhere

Time to start the water loading and all the pleasures that go with it.

Health: Fine 10/10

After a day of carb loading I woke this morning looking good, I think. I feel a bit fuller on my chest but my stomach area feels a bit softer. Did I have too many calories, too many carbs or was another bad night’s sleep to blame for a bit of poor condition? Who knows but today I’ll again follow the programme and eat a tonne of carbs. And I’ll have a bucket load of water.

I aimed for 6 litres today, and as at 8pm I reckon I’ve achieved that, if not more. At first it feels difficult to drink that much. I aimed for a pint per hour, on the hour, and this felt like a lot by the third pint. But then my body started to flush it out, with a regular need to visit the loo, and this brought on a great thirst. This vicious circle is still in full effect, and right now I have the great urge to pee and get another big drink. At least I know it’s working, and should provide me with the required water drainage by the time my photos are taken.

I must go now…….. Seriously, I MUST!!
